Hey you lovely sexy lot.
I'm just wondering if many people out there have body image issues?
Everyone seems so confident in their skin.
I'm a mum with a mum tum (which I'm very proud of) but sometimes crave that fit little figure I used to have.. |

Nowt wrong with a mum tum! I kinda like them!
I have body image issues. Always have. In my teens and early 20’s I was “too thin”.
Now at 36 it’s all caught up with me and I’ve got an extra dad body. A bit too large with small moobs... |

We think most people have parts of them that they don't like, or wish they could change.
Life is too short though to worry about it. We wear a smile and hope that is noticed more than our imperfections. |

I I have a love hate relationship with my body.
I have issues caused by meds that make me very self conscious. No longer do I have the muscles or size 32 waist I had three years ago.
At the same time I love sex and I'm in no way exaggerating or trying to show off when I say I have considerably more of it than most people on here.
So.. Self conscious and overweight with my own hangups, I still seem to be able to indulge my considerable appetites h
and reciprocate so much intense pleasure.
I think most of us judge ourselves far more unkindly than ever we would anyone else

Oh god yes I see these curvy women with flat tummies and I am envious 2 c sections and my tum is like an apron just gotta keep going the gym eventually this body will be the way I want it lol |

I loathe my mum tum with a vengeance. My husband barely gets to see me naked because of it. Also conscious of my c section scar and small boobs. Ive lost a lot of the baby weight but insecurities are still there. I envy people who are so comfy in their own skin. I just cant do it. |

I have loads of body hang ups and children have certainly changed my body
I think you OP are with the majority, I think you’ll find fewer people who don’t have hang ups.
You have a great body from the pics I looked at

I like me... not great, not super toned.. and not through lack of trying...after 5 years of hitting the gym I realised I'm not ever going to get what I originally aimed for, I'm happy to accept my healthy, strong body for all it's flaws... even the wobbly bits x |

I think everyone has some sort of insecurity with their body, myself included!
I think it’s more about how you hold yourself and confidence is a big thing too! It is so hard to accept a compliment until you start to believe in yourself, I still find it difficult but just say thank you |

Thank you so much for your replies.
At the ripe old age of 41 I still can't believe I have moments of panic about my body. I guess some of us are never truly happy with what we've got.
Ps, I've had a sneaky peak at your profiles and you all look fabulous.. xx |

I belle really struggle at the moment. I never used to be too bad although I wouldn't go naked. Beast manages to get me naked but my self image not just body is at a all time low. I am working at rebuilding it again |

It's natural to have self doubt, most people do at one time or another. You basically have the same figure as me OP,and nobody has ever complained, I'm sure you could say the same. You look great. Which sounds a bit big headed now, but you know what I mean |

"I've lost 7 stone so now my stomach looks like a hot mess. I try and keep it covered up with basques or corsets. I'm really self concious of it"
And I bet nobody has ever seen it and rejected you because of it. We are so much more harsh on ourselves than others are. |

^exactly this.. I have a 'mummy tummy', a bit of loose skin from making babies.. im learning to like it. but I'm also so much more than my tummy. The right ones will see you for who you are. And if you feel more comfy in sexy undies. That's sexy too. |

There's no perfection that we haven't got. I'm the perfect me today even if I'd like different
I look at myself and marvel, as our bodies are incredible. I have been critical but I don't look and think about my body if I'm going to be. It's hard for people as there's so much pressure is conform |

Totally get this....I've had both an eating disorder and body dysphoria too. Ive had a whole lot of counselling which has helped and I'm not checking anywhere near as much as I used to. Saying that, I do have to work incredibly hard not to.
Getting rid of my very controlling ex husband and finding an amazing wonderful man who has loved me, for me, has definitely helped too.
Ps.... I've looked and I think you look bloody fabulous...even though I know you wont believe me!! Xxx

I had body dysmorphia in my early 20s and ended up on steroids aged 21-23. Thankfully snapped out of it. I still see a little different in a negative sense in mirror than what others do, but I think many of us are the same in that respect. |

nothing wrong with craving how you used to look better than pickled gherkins
I guess some women are able to get back to their original size straight away.
People in life should like you for who you are not for what you became
Media and mags hardly ever show bbw women and so the market is for slim models, once got asked to be a model, was too skinny! |

Yeah I find it's too easy to slip into my old ways. Had the same with an ex who made out I should be ashamed of my body and that it should be covered up. And yes finding an amazing man who loves the bones off you helps loads. |

I don’t think I’ll ever love my body, but I’ve certainly started to accept it and perhaps even flaunt it a little more lately. Starting to see myself more as a BBW, trying to be less negative, and think that maybe all the nice things that Mr F says about me are actually true ?? |

Having completely the wrong body all your life isn’t a whole lotta fun.
Wanting to try to correct some of nature’s mistakes with a Stanley knife scared the crap out of me. I’m glad I didn’t. I try not to regret waiting this long. |

I wouldn't say I have major body hang ups anymore...certainly see parts of my body that used to be firmer or perter but that's just life. I have mixed feelings about my csection scars. They're a lovely reminder of the sprogs but on holiday I found myself checking to see it was always covered. In the past I would focus on my shape and weight, now I try to think about my energy levels and feeling strong. It's inevitable we'll compare ourselves to others though...just need to keep it in check. |

Ive got a serious mum tum after having very big babies and c sections. When I was with my ex I thought I’d never let another man see me naked. It still gets to me but since being single I’ve found the guys I’ve been with haven’t been too bothered and I’ve kind of accepted that it’s who I am, although if I ever have enough spare cash for a tummy tuck I’d definitely consider it! |

Not really.. I've plenty of lumps bumps and wobbly bits, and all are on display in my photos. My arse is almost big enough to generate it's own gravity field, and I've stretch marks from years of yo-yo weight gain/loss, but fuck it... Folk seem to like my body anyway! |

I used to have a different view of how I looked to how everyone else saw me. Years and years with an ex who daily called me fat and ugly warped my view. I would only see any imperfections and fixate on them. Since getting rid of him I'm not as bad as I was. I still have days when I just see flaws and nothing else, but I also have more good days when I accept and embrace how I look. Every bit of me makes me who I am x |

Not really. I quite like my bod. I need to shed a few pounds that I’ve put on over the last few months but it doesn’t make me like it any less.
My body image changed when I started frequenting naturist beaches on holiday. I gained significant body confidence from being naked in public regularly |
