Most of the things i've looked at recently are either the same price they were before or slightly higher as they've reduced the discount.
I rarely buy anything from them as i'm rarely that in need of anything- so I wait until retailers are in a trading dip and offer better discounts |

I think it's the same old trick shops have been doing for years. Claiming things have been heavily reduced in price, but they were simply hiked up for a while.
Retail is a dying dog. |

I always find this is the case. Things marked up just to mark them down for the sale. |

I shop around, add things to baskets, then go off hunting other sites to see if I can get them cheaper.
So far I've found nothing in today's sales, cheaper than stuff I've had saved for a week or two.
Although I've just rebooked our hotel for the MLS £25 cheaper thanks to Hotel.com BF sale
But I've been rebooking that for 2mths now via different sites, always the same hotel, I've now saved £70 off the original price
I do like a good bargain |

"The Which survey survey results were that 90% of the so-called bargains weren't. I've had a look at a few things.
Bought hotel nights on offer and a holiday.
Haven't seen anything incredible "
It's just a gimmick really. |

I don’t usually take any notice of these gimmicky sales but I did get one good deal. Amazon dot 3rd gen for £22 when they are normally £49.99 but I bought it through top cash back and got £15.55 cash back meaning the Echo Dot cost me £6.45. That is a bargain. |

Go to the top cash back website and register. Some banks are doing it too, Lloyds offer cash back on certain stores if you activate the offer on the online banking app |

There are some genuine deals. I bought a cycling jersey from Chapeau, which is a brand I think has a really chic style, reduced from £100 to £50. The £100 is the normal all year round price too, so I’m well pleased. |

We bought a few things online. Got a kenwood hand blender in Amazon reduced from 100 to 60.
In all honesty we tend to only buy food and clothes in actual shops now. Most other stuff is bought online.
I think as I get older, perhaps because I've already bought and thrown away lots of stuff, it gets harder and harder for me to get enthusiastic about shopping. |

We've been so brainwashed by the manufacturers and retailers that Black Friday is the dogs do dahs.
I'm waiting for a 110% off offer where they pay me to take goods away.
So i'm starting an alternative counter movement to promote Black Friday being a scam.
We should be angry that they overcharge us for 364 days a year
Ps if anyone finds any real bargains let me know |
