So I went and had my sexual health screenings this morning. Something I do every three - four months.
No problems or symptoms.. it just seems sensible and they always give me loads of free condoms and lube (yaaaay).
So I'm wondering...given that keeping healthy is indubitably an important aspect of our playing with others, how many other people on here actually manage to do this this? |

I go whenever I feel I’ve been naughty..
When I went recently, they gave me home testing kits. So now I can repent for sins in the comfort of my own home. |

This area is one of those offering the free home testing kits. I use one every few months, but it's not a full screen so I will occasionally nip to a clinic for a broader spectrum of tests. The clinic I go to is great; they offer a walk-in and wait service until about 7 at night. |

Yes I go to mine every 4 months or so. Always get tested, really quick and simple to do then wait to see what the results say always been all clear which Is good. As I'm always nervous thinking it might show something. They always ask me do I want any condoms so I I say yeah might as well take some. Great staff and Been with them for 5 years now so they know me |

Home test kits here, Belle is a little OTT with testing and actually tests 6 weekly, however as we are only playing with each other at the moment and the last tests at the beginning of Nov were all clear we probably won't test again until we are active on the scene.
The home tests are Very easy to do but unfortunately not available in all areas. Even with condom use infections can be transmitted. Oral with out can pass more than people realise.

I'm lucky as the home test kits are available for free in my area. I get tested regularly, every few months, and they are quite thorough here, including mouth swabs. The worst bit is the blood sample as my fingers don't always want to co-operate  .
So far, all has been clear, and I hope to keep it this way. |
