I've got loads but my wife made me throw half of them out...which is a bit of shame because now I have to hop everywhere.

Not really, some will probably increase in value over time.

Personally I think make up is a waste of money. Everyone spends money on stuff that others think is a waste.

Personally I have a few pairs of Adidas. All wearers though. Only Nikes I like are Cortez.

I agree at times, but some of them are limited edition and my hopes are they will be worth lots more than I paid in the near future

Collection? Bloody hell. I’ve got like 3 items of footwear. My trainers, my (die hard, that I admittedly spend a few bob on when new!) walking boot, and “posh” black shoes

depending on what you got you could be sitting on some serious money makers. I've got a pair of ultra rare air force 1s from 18 years ago in the box and a pair of Nike michigan Dunks

Nah. I usually have three pairs on the go. One I'm using for running, the newly retired running pair (for the rowing machine), and the gardening pair...

My gardener still hasn't apologised for running amok with the strimmer.

I'm with you there OP, maybe not a hundred and definitely didn't start out with the intention of starting a collection but I do have far too many. Some limited editions, but mainly ones I liked the look of the time or got a good deal on. I've done the buy 2 pairs thing as well. I particularly like breaking out an old pair from way back that are box fresh, theres a certain 'charm' to dropping kicks that no else is wearing at the moment. Goes for boots and shoes too. Enjoy them OP, there are worst things you could do out there

Hiding in the shadows

I'm an unashamed shoe whore

Converse trainers, probably 20 pairs

Irregular Choice shoes, I darn't count - I even have pairs of those that don't fit me, spotted in charity shops, FB selling pages, too good a bargain to pass up!

I have vans galore but they’re all worn - pointless keeping them in a box.

Youd be surprised. You can make good money buying and selling the right trainers

Before this summer I'd only ever had one pair of trainers in my life. I now have another pair so I wouldn't call myself a collector. I do know that certain trainers are an investment so collecting them is a good idea. I don't think it's any different to collecting stamps really.

Nothing wrong with a good shoe collection!

We both have a lot of shoes but M has a crazy amount of trainers. It doesn’t help that as soon as they get dirty or a mark on them he won’t wear them again, so I do clear out and donate quite regularly.

I’m more about the heels myself.
