"Ours is 3g, like Sutton United's pitch.
I don't get that reference "
Nor I. It just sounded right at the time but on reflection, I've been funnier at funerals.
Sutton United have got a 3g pitch though. |

We love a real one. It's a really lovely family day, all going together to choose the tree then bringing it home. Our children decorate it, with Christmas tunes on in the background, whilst we sit back and watch them whilst sipping a glass of baileys. |

I don’t have a tree in the tradition sense....
I have a clothes airer suspended from the ceiling in the kitchen which becomes a centre piece decorated with baubles etc a mash up of everything!
In the lounge I usually have a large white wicker wreath suspended on ribbons from the ceiling. I hang baubles on invisible thread in shades of silver, aqua marine and pale blue with strings of silver and crystal beads. Looks very pretty. |

We’ve gone for a real one with roots this year. If I can keep it alive and use it every year for the next 30 years that works out at £1.50 a year. Bargain |

It certainly is unless the tree is far too big and Mr brings his entire tool (incl circular saw) collection into the living room to cut some if its trunk off! |

I like a real tree. Especially if it is left alive, growing in the forest in Finland. Doing it's bit to remove CO2 from the atmosphere and make oxygen for us to breathe. Instead we cut them down, let them die slowly in agony (of course they feel the pain!), then chuck them on the tip or burn them. Destroying the planet a little more... |

I put my potted tree out in the garden last year, just left it in the pot. It's doing grand and will come in again this year |

We stay there every Christmas and the owners are more like friends than owners.
