anybody heard of it?
do you use it, or know anyone that has done?
tempted by it, but dont want to be taken in by clever marketing.
a guy Em was talking to, that does MMA said he uses it and its terrific, but wanted more opinions.
obviously things only work if you commit to it totally, but is this a good one to get into, especially as its designed to be done in your own home rather than subscribing to a gym. |

Isn't it just cardio? you could put your own workout to gather based on their website .... or torrent it, there is no workout on earth that is worth £100 |

its specific workouts, though, that i would have NO idea about which were best, and so on.
you say its never going to be worth 100 quid, and thats more than likely true, but gym membership is over 30 a month, so isnt that just as expensive? |

"Run down a hill ....... totally insane work-out ....... and think of all the free fresh air you get with it. "
i have to do low impact workouts as i have a dodgy ankle.
hill runs are deff out for a while (used to do them in footy training, and with all the kit on was deff a killer. INSANE lol) |

The problem with working out at home is that you will always be kind to yourself. You need to have people around you to motivate you work to your maximum. I imagine most of the people who buy the insanity DVD never do more than four workouts. |

£30 a month to use all the equipment and facilities is a pretty good deal
£100 for a DVD that has info that can be researched easily for free, isn't a good deal
Spend some time researching plyometrics, body weight exercises and circuit training and you'll have an idea of what the DVD is about for nothing
Or, like I said, torrent it for free |

"Alone at home ? Is that really motivational ?
I'd say yes but my unused exercise bike that i hang washing on says no."
i am more motivated at home than in a gym, with all the ripped, muscular guys walking round like they have shit themselves, while i sit on a bike peddling hard, trying not to drop my chips lol |

You see I can't understand why people spend hundreds on workout and fitness dvd's and expensive gym memberships.
My work-outs are free, walking miles at work, trotting up and down hills and struggling through sand at the beach when walking my dog, swimming with my grandson, all good cardio-vascular activities......and that's me slowed right down in my old age.
Up until a few years ago I was still windsurfing water-skiing and scuba diving. I last went snow skiing 4 months ago.
I'd advocate a cycle or a walk or a swim now before spending anything on dvd's and fitness club/gym memberships. |
