Bigots, and customers who say REALLY fucking creepy things to me at work.
Imagine working on your own and having someone say ‘I’d love to take you out back  ’ without any warning or anything, it’s just fucking creepy, like no.
As for the bigotry, I’m trans, yeah I know it’s unusual to meet someone like me in this area but no I don’t wanna hear your opinion on chromasones and what you’ve learnt from reading the daily mail, get the fuck outta here with that! |

Developers - the ongoing saga
So, to recap, currently going through the process of buying a new build house, reserved in April, been on contract since May due to have been completed end of October.
Developers being as they are, the end date slipped, and slipped again ... then slipped again ... was going to complete end of this month, then 13th December
This week's latest installment ... T minus 3 weeks to go, sales office called ... bad news ... date slipped again, now won't complete until middle of January!!
Here's the kicker ... all because the kitchen door handles we have chosen have been discontinued!!
Wtf ... they suddenly found this out about 4 weeks ago, they told us and we chose new ones ... but little did the developer know, because they didn't have a complete order, the kitchen subcontractor didn't even begin to build the kitchen ... 6 week leaf time.
1. Handles just need holes drilling, why does this stop the carcasses and doors being made??
2. Why the fuck hadn't the developer questioned why there was no kitchen delivered and fitted for the house when they were just 3 weeks from planned completion??
Cue a long sob story of lazy site manager and incompetent direction, personnel replaced, new team playing catch up etc,other houses have been delayed even longer than ours ...
How the fuck is this my problem??? Just finish the fucking house!!!!

Not much to rant about today tbh....
....oh, but, fab - it's not very entertaining or inspiring lately.....
...oh, and some ppl are really mean to other ppl they perceive as being mean, when if they were nice then everyone would have a better experience (has absolutely nothing to do with me personally this time, just an observation of late, it's really not pretty).... ....be nice and give others more BOTD please you miserable fuckers....!

I know you said not to rant about people not replying to messages but can I rant about being attacked for having the temerity to choose not to reply?
I'm mindful you can't discuss the contents of messages. Let's just say that someone I'd never spoken to asked me something intrusive and personal without any preamble or introduction. Just an abrupt demand. I therefore declined to respond.
Woke up today to two more messages name calling as a result. (note: not disclosing content)
Yeah, they're now blocked but TBH it's made me feel a bit shit. So much for respecting people's rights to privacy here, never mind all the other valid reasons why I can choose not to reply like.... ummm, real life, time etc.

A job I had on for tomo evening, worth £100, got cancelled with three days notice
And, not a rant as such but more surprise; my mum had a back operation on Tuesday which we all thought would take 3 hours. Ended up being over 6, and she's still numb in her lower legs and feet now.... |

7.32 hours late rant!
University lecturers out on strike for 8 days, starting this week. I’m going to miss 5 lectures, essential for my 4 assignments due in 2 months. Whilst I have some empathy for their cause, what’s the university going to do with the money I’m paying towards their tuition fee (I’m self funded), when the strikers don’t get paid?  |
