Yes thoroughly, have followed the Manics since my teenage years. I was literally laughing in my office to the description of pob who I'd forgotten about. Have always found Nicky intriguing and the interview reaffirmed that

Had the chance to meet the manics during the " if you tolerate" years.

JDB was absolutely steaming d*unk, Nicky was awesome, really funny guy. Signed my tshirt as Elvis!

I like that with age comes acceptance and perspective.

He's got a good handle on his foibles and can laugh at their youthful anger and intensity whilst still retaining the values that fuelled the anger in the first place.

They really did get some extraordinary lyrics into the charts.

That is one of their amazing features, they've managed to retain the anger without becoming cliché about it.
