I love a well thought out cocktail. I’m currently curled up (sore tummy) all snuggly in blankets and sitting reading a book on hygge and there’s a yummy looking recipe:
Spiced Clementine Sour
50ml whisky, 20ml fresh clementine juice, 20ml spiced sugar syrup, 20ml fresh lemon juice, 1 egg white, small handful of ice - chill tumbler, place all ingredients excluding ice in cocktail shaker and shake, open and add ice, shake again, strain into chilled tumbler and add a couple of dashes of lemon bitters, sprinkling of freshly grated clementine zest and a dusting of cinnamon. Drink immediately.
What cocktails do you like? |

I've posted this before, but consider it a public service...
Apple Crumble Martini.
Cold pressed apple juice (4 parts)
Bison grass vodka (3 parts)
Cranberry juice (2 parts)
It's bloody lovely and does indeed taste of apple crumble. |

That's alot of ingredients..if there's anything you don't have in the cupboard, I could pop it round seeing as you have a sore tummy...It'll take me around 5 hours from up North! |

"A jammy donut
Vanilla ice cream mixed with baileys then pour chambourd down the center.
Turn it into a toffee donut by swapping the chambourd for toffee vodka.
Both are very nice"
This is like an adult ice cream float. Love it! |

I'm a bugger for old-school cocktails, nothing too sweet.
Whisky sour (whisky, lemon juice, syrup, sometimes egg white)
Old-fashioned (sugar cube dissolved in bitters, loads of ice, whisky, cherry on top)
Negroni (gin, vermouth, campari)
Rusty Nail (whisky, drambuie - bit sweeter than my usual)

That sounds good! I've tried one called Bloom which is quite floral. Is it like that? |

"Hedgerow royale
A shot of sloe gin, shot of cherry brandy and double shot of prosecco. Perfect served chilled.
Ooo that sounds lovely!
Doesn’t it! And probably lethal "
It's lovely and lethal but well worth it. It's my go to Christmas hosting drink. |

I've not tried Bloom but the Liverpool one is quite subtle. I was expecting it to be overwhelmingly floral and perfume-y, but it's really not, there is just a hint of rose at the back of it. I do drink it neat though, I guess if you used a floral tonic with it that would really help to bring it out. |
