Your driving alone on a country road in the middle of the night. You see a hot young women or guy. They look like the need help. Do you stop or stay going? |

I’d probably stop regardless if they were hot or not. I helped a guy changed a his tyre at the side of the road about a month ago on my way home from a motorsports event. Was about 11pm. He was struggling and I had tools in my car that helped. |

Would not be afraid there would be more hiding in the Bush somewhere."
It’s a risk you take but I’ve got a conscience and I’d feel bad. |

I can totally understand why people would just drive by and wouldn’t judge them. I’m confident enough that I’d be able to handle myself and I’d rather it was me than somebody else if something dodgy was going on. |

Stop, Last year an elderly guy who had obviously broken down in the middle of nowhere. I stopped and he gladly accept the offer of a lift home.
A couple of weeks ago I nearly ran into a kid cycling along a busy main road while it was dark. I stopped and after I calmed down I said to him if you don't want to die "you better put the bike in the back of my van and I'll take you home"
It could have been awkward but I wouldn't have forgiven myself if anything had happened. |

What if you come up against someone with a knife or gun?" well I’m in the shit but I’d still risk it. What if they don’t and somebody turns up who does? |

Unfortunately situations like these could be used as bait for robbery and car theft.
I’ve come across similar situations in the past and never stop the first time passing. I’ll generally turn around and drive past again for a better look once I’ve had chance to see a bit further up the road.
If all else fails, ring the none emergency police and report it. |

without thinking about it ...I say stop and help. I'd hope I'd not regret that decision |

Same. It’s a calculated risk. Weigh up the risks and decide if you are prepared to act. Most times I would. It’s that simple for me. |

Hot or not, I would offer them help. That is the right thing to do I guess. Humanity prevails! |

In the past I've done both, it really depend all the circumstances surrounding the event, if it feels legit then I'd stop Male or female, if anything at all feels wrong then I'd carry one and phone 101 to get them some professional help. |

"I think it’s all about context with this one. “You’re driving alone on a country lane at night”... it’s the stuff of horror films innit? It never ends well.... (or maybe I’ve just watched too many .....)
If on the other hand it had said “you’re driving through a town in the daytime and someone needed help....” well, yeah. I’d stop to help anyone if I felt safe myself.
If it is anything like horror films, you stop or not, they will be sitting behind staring at you and you see them through your mirrors "

I've been in this situation (only with a random guy who wasn't particularly hot but was staggering around and was clearly confused) and I've stopped.
He wasn't making a huge amount of sense but was obviously quite distressed, it was on the Corwen road at 9 at night, pitch black, nobody else to help.
Turned out he'd crashed his car just round the next bend.
Ended up calling the emergency services and sitting with him until they arrived.
Yes he could've been a d*unk or it could've been a carjacking, but I don't think trouble happens as often as people needing help happens. Dumb or not I'm probably going to stop. |

I would and have stopped many times over the years, regardless of age, gender or hotness.
Would I be weary more nowadays? Probably, but it wouldn't stop me from helping. |

Well as I don't drive I'm probably the guy walking home in the dark from work after a late shift as I missed the last train/bus. |

Hot or not, man or woman, person clearly in trouble, I stop, even though I might take the precaution of a drive by first and even a quick call to Plod if it looks that dodgy.... |

I also think there’ll naturally be a difference in willingness between the sexes... i.e. a man by himself stopping for a woman would likely feel safer than a woman by herself stopping for a man... |

I’d stop of course. Offer him or her some warm coffee and something warm to wear from my special bag and then take him or her to her destination. I is a gentle person you know If he or she turns out to be a physco knife welding cunt I’d whip out my machete and say mines bigger than yours |

I've often been tempted to stop and help if I see someone broken down but these days some people read so much into things, I'm afraid of being accused of something. |
