Eye patch or no eye patch?

Well. I'm currently recovering from emergency eye surgery to try and save some sight in one eye. Bit of shock and it looks like that eye might not be so good anymore. I don't mind telling you it's very scarey when it happens.

So.. Opinions.. Would you do a Gordon brown - and wear no eye patch and just risk having a bit of a lazy eye? Or would you get some cool eye patch and make it a 'feature'?

I kind of wanted a leather and silver one with a saxophone on it..

I would wear a patch if it was comfortable, I think it would be a very fun look

Result for the patch already very happy.

The high point so far was walking along the street with my temporary plastic eye shield and a little girl looked at me with open mouth and asked if I was a pirate.

Thanks. You could, but I'm a bit scared what it might wind up being called.

I went to a talk last week by a guy rocking an eye patch.

Go for it. He looked great.

He's called James Piercy if you want to Google

If you're advised to wear one, wear one.

Some people should be offered eye patches due to certain conditions, but are let down by hospital doctors

Get an eye patch. If it was good enough for Gabrielle (rem_mber her?!) it’ll be fine.

Oh yes... You know I completely forgot about her.
