Well. I'm currently recovering from emergency eye surgery to try and save some sight in one eye. Bit of shock and it looks like that eye might not be so good anymore. I don't mind telling you it's very scarey when it happens.
So.. Opinions.. Would you do a Gordon brown - and wear no eye patch and just risk having a bit of a lazy eye? Or would you get some cool eye patch and make it a 'feature'?
I kind of wanted a leather and silver one with a saxophone on it.. |

Result for the patch already very happy.
The high point so far was walking along the street with my temporary plastic eye shield and a little girl looked at me with open mouth and asked if I was a pirate. |

"Can we have a Fab competition to name your parrot?
All the very best with you eye."
Thanks. You could, but I'm a bit scared what it might wind up being called. |

"Get an eye patch. If it was good enough for Gabrielle (rem_mber her?!) it’ll be fine.
"
Oh yes... You know I completely forgot about her.
Thank you all for all the replies. |
