Do you look older?
Do you look younger?
I generally look younger (unless I'm feeling rundown!), especially without any facial hair, whenever I am clean shaven (rare) I still get ID for things. A few rare occasions I have been told from a certain angle I can look older than usual. |

I put a post on Facebook saying that most women who claim ‘I don’t look my age, I always get asked for ID!’ do look their age, and the poor guy asking for ID reckons they need a pick me up. My mother in law got angry  |

My greying beard tells me I’m looking old.
People seem surprised when I tell them I have a 13 year old. But that could be because of my child like behaviour  |

I can guarantee if age was hidden, and you only had face pics to go on (unedited pics obciously!) that the majority of guesses people gave would be at least 5 years out from what age people actually are. |

I've always been fairly baby faced. I got accused of being underage on another site when I was 21. People usually think I'm about 5 years younger than I am. Lots think I'm still a uni student which is kinda sweet. On the flip side some people don't take me seriously in my job as they don't think I'm old enough to be qualified. |

It’s simply because I’m porky. More collagen, less wrinkles....

I thibk this is a large part of it. Little things that can be tell tale signs.
I have quite often had a "fuck off" with a  facial reaction when I have revealed my age at times. Though that is me assuming is was a shock of looking younger and not older. |

make up is a tricky one, on a natural baby face it can add age, while a natural older face it will help hide age hints. Similar to the grey in a guys beard, clean shaven often makes a man look younger.
Also I guess it is down to the way and technique that it is applied. Too much will obviously add age, while a slight enhancement can |

I look my age. Good for it. But my age.
I can't think of anyone I've seen a face photo of and thought "oh, you look a younger than your age."
Anyway, why is youth and desirability all tangled up? I know why but I think that age brings its own beauty. |

Since I was a teenager Ive Been mistaken for being older be it physical appearance or the way I come across with people...hehe no matter it’s fun to see people’s reaction when I tell them my real age I always get mistaken for being in my early or mid 30s... |

I don’t think it always means someone doesn’t want to offend. Sometimes it’s genuine. I’m not sure about your point re people believing compliments, but tbh I don’t always believe it when people say it to me. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think yeah right, I can see the wrinkles. |

Its not that young no. But as I have stated elsewhere its not always about looking younger is looking more attractive. Baby face can be very hit and miss, even a 35 year old baby face. Shockingly it is not always about vanity despite what some people believe.
As Lacey has stated further up, looking younger can cause people to not take you as serious as they should at times. However because it is about physical appearance people jump strait toward vanity accusations. |

There is a difference between lieing about your age and unintentionally just looking older and younger than you actually are. |
