you do like to complicate things !
the way i look at it is, the 'punter' will still want his shed laying, be it today or tomorrow
will the lady in question still desire your company tomorrow if you string her along today ?
dunno bout you, but i wouldn't wanna come second to a shed lol |

Does the Punter have Written permission for the shed? It's a little known fact that most councils require it (though it's not a prob until you try to sell your house and some snotty solicitor asks to see it).
You can see the lady while the punter sorts his paperwork. |

It's unlikely but if they pull that rabbit out of the hat it's time for the roman coin two step.
Break the soil and then declare "oh what's this, a roman coin?? I need to report this to the department of antiqueties*. They will need to investigate the land before I can proceed. It works just as well with human bones, though that's a little drastic. Should buy you a couple of months.
*department of antiqueties is a made up name. |

You are all down the wrong track... simply move the meet forward a few hours, take her 4 miles down the road and tell her mixing concrete is the new form of foreplay.... shed base gets done quicker and you get to lay both base and meet on the same day. |
