We recently bought some. We found the best place was Next at a price acceptable to us.
They appear to us who aren't experts to be well !made. We looked for quality of fabric, how the display furniture had coped with being mistreated in the shop, how the upholstery felt e.g. firm, hardwearing etc. and guarantee. |

Sit on it and test for comfort.
Sturdiness, back support. Do your feet touch the ground ? Select a fabric and just give it a good once over. But from a reputable seller. Back street firms offer shoddy rubbish generally. |

Be a bit wary of leather, depending on what clothes you wear to lounge around in. My sister wears her silk pjs to relax in and she slides around on her new leather sofa. |

"Chesterfield all the way.
Classic shape, solid design and you can rest your cup of tea and/or book on the arm "
Also if you go for a more modern "trendy" design it will look dated more quickly than if you buy a classic design. |
