A father bull and his young son are stood on a hill overlooking a fiels of cows.

"Dad, dad, let's run down into the field and fuck one of those cows" said the young son

The father bull replied "No son, we'll walk down and fuck them all!"

Now that's wisdom!!

Sage enjoys a sunny position in a well-drained, fertile soil... it grows well in pots, but be careful not to over water if the containers do not have good drainage.

But Gwanny surely as longevity and life experience are not commodities that everyone gathers in equal proportion, therefore dispensing sage-like wisdom must be relative to the perceived intellectual status of an individual within a peer group situation…….

Or I could be talking bollix….

i always thought at 35 i wasnt ready to give good an proper advice however in work i see young 22-25 yr olds given older ppl advice which they seem to respect

however i think this is the nature of my profession

i think on some aspects you need to live to give advice so id think you need be older than younger

Life is a cruel teacher. A child who has suffered bereavement of a parent or is undergoing some form of treatment is perhaps in a better position to offer advice to a child who has just suffered the same, than an adult.

No Gwanny I don't believe they are,,,,,

However I do believe that its common to find advisory situations where they are perceived as having a meaningful affiliation which add credibility to an individuals worth for dolling out so called words of wisdom ( rightly or wrongly)

But I'm more of the train of thought which follows that the age old adage that Good judgement come from bad experience .... init eh!

However mean your life is, meet it and live it: do not shun it and call it hard names. Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Things do not change, we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.

Henry David Thoreau.

Keep the sexual harassment complaint forms in the bottom drawer. That way, when she goes to get one you'll get a great view of her arse.
