Jump in vehicle..start engine..and just drive..some of the best places I ve seen have been by accident..oh and use a paper road atlas as then you can see a larger view of where you are and whats around..sat navigation etc tends to give you a route and a little bit...I ve spent a lot of time driving the tarmac and often I ll see a junction I ve never been down and thought fk it..let's see |

Love this! I use my paper map too. Easier to figure out where I want to go. |

"As a regular visitor Scotland becomes highly recommended"
There's so much of Scotland I've not seen but want to .
Edinburgh is fine, it's home but there's so many other places I escape to by the coast . Or over in Fife. |

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe |
My job sees me driving all over the country, and mostly my appointments are planned so that I have to take the quickest route to get them on time. Some days though, there may be a 4 hour gap between appointments, but they may be only an hour's drive away, so I set my sat nav to avoid motorways and let it see where it takes me. I've seen lots of places I would never have by doing this. |

Me too! I love Dundee and Carnoustie is stunning
This is only my 2nd visit to Edinburgh and loving it, my son lives in Newhaven so busy exploring there.
I definitely want to do the old town and touristy places though. |

"The Scottish Highlands.
I’m hoping to do the North West 500 in the summer
It looks amazing. We have it on our bucket list once our children are grown up."
It’s going to be me and two mates next year, in our Caterham 7’s |
