Person winked at me so I blocked them. Then a few mins later I had message come through unless it was a delay of some kind I dont know but it happened

I think it may be true. Someone i blocked changed his name and his veri reappeared on my veris under new name. This does not usually happen but in this case it did

Only if you've messaged at some point in the past. Being blocked doesn't work for messages if you've exchanged chats before. They can't see your pics, read your profile etc but if they didn't delete your message from before the block then that stays open even if YOU deleted those messages.

If you block someone, you can't mail them and they can't mail you. They either started a new profile or got the mail in as you blocked them
