Personally id give mathew st a very wide berth, unless its late on and your already hammered. I think you can have any night out at all in Liverpool, studenty, cheesy, classy its really your call. Its a small city centre so one end to the other in 25 min walk but packed into different areas. Please feel free to message if i can offer some advice |

It depends what you're after. Personally I avoid the main areas (concert square and Mathew street) like the plague on weekends. The areas around Mathew street have some nice classy bars though. From Slater Street outwards to Hope Street has some decent bars too which is usually where I tend to stick to if drinking in town. |

I don't like Matthew street or Concert Square at the weekend. My personal favourite is Bold Street, some great restaurants and bars a bit student area but it also has my favourite independent cinema 'FACT' as well |

Had a fantastic night out, if you've never been then I would highly recommend Liverpool for a night out ! Amazingly warm and friendly people. Lou is feeling a little worse for wear so we're having an easy day sight seeing and then back out tonight ! |

"(Ray) child free weekend so I decided to take Lou away for a couple of nights in Liverpool, can anyone recommend some decent bars/night clubs
Thanks "
Seel Street end. Less tourists and better bars. The Peacock, Heebie Jeebies, Jacaranda, even Slaters if you want super cheap drinks x |
