I like my old riley - has so much character and brings a smile to my face whenever I get a chance to drive him
I would love a 1970 lamborghini miura p400s but never going to happen |

It would always be a Ferrari for me. I’ve driven one but couldn’t own one, even if I could afford it. I like to admire them but it wouldn’t fit my personality to have one.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest |
The absolute sexiest engine noise revving i've heard is the Ferrari F50 - V12 straight from F1 with toned down rpm and horsepower.
The Lambo V12 that was evolved from the Miura up to the Diablo had such a sexy, throaty growl |

Depends what model of Ferrari you might want for starters. If it's the latest Roma or 812 you are shit outta luck unless you've owned more than one Ferrari already. Plus they want you to have at least enough money in the bank to be able to afford to buy it and run it comfortably. Lamborghini on the other hand aren't overly fussed on anything other than the asking price. Personally, I prefer a lambo looks wise over a ferrari but that new Roma is sexy as fook. |

Personally I'd go for the huracan then, otherwise I'd wind the clock back and look for a Modena or Dino in good nick. |

"What is it with geezas & cars , never did get it ! "
Because I started a love affair with cars at the age of two but by the time I was in my 30’s I became more pragmatic in my aspirations and was happy with a car that got me from A to B and I could fil the boot with shit that I needed to take to the tip or spread on the garden borders |

So why go for a lambo or ferrari when you ride a sexy beast or be a bit more unique and classy?? |

"There the 2 brands that you dream of as a youngster not fords" actually I wanted a Ford when I was younger... when I was 11 I wanted a series 1 rs turbo. Then I wanted a Lancia delta integrale evo. And then it was a db5.
If I was buying something like the two cars in the original post it would be the alfa 8c or the 4c
But if I had to choose it would be Lamborghini
Personally if I was spending that money it would be on a 1967 shelby gt500 |

Excellent choices.
I don’t much care for Audis these days but in 1982 I really really wanted a quattro rally car! |

Post like this, always remind me of this clip from gone in 60 seconds.
Roger the Car Salesman:
Well, a Ferrari would certainly change that.
Memphis:
Perhaps, Mmmm. But, you know, this is the one. Yes, yes yes... I saw three of these parked outside the local Starbucks this morning, which tells me only one thing. There's too many self-Indulgent wieners in this city with too much bloody money! Now, if I was driving a 1967 275 GTB four-cam...
Roger the Car Salesman:
You would not be a self-indulgent wiener, sir... You'd be a connoisseur. |

Either the GTR-R34 @ 600bhp or the newer GTR-2020.
Failing that an original Fiat 500 Abarth edition
Or a Williams Clio...

What do you think of the new defender? I like it. I was at the launch at my local dealership a couple of weeks ago and I thought it looked pretty cool. Starting price of 40 grand for the L90, not too bad |

It may be a good vehicle but it won’t replace my Defender in terms of the practicalities of what I use it for, and in terms of price I’ll have to wait till the second hand market gets going. To be fair though I have only seen in the press not in the flesh. |

Lamborghini, but it would have to be the Miura from the late 60s to early 70s.
I was in the money at that time and was also looking at the De Tomaso Pantera, sadly I got neither as the tax man intervened. Happy carefree days. |

I think it'll end up used by the masses as a city car and never see any offroad miles, but I like the styling at least and I feel had they not released a new defender then Jaguar/LandRover would start to struggle a little. The evoque I cant stand and the Disco, Sport and Vogue are nothing but status symbols to those who can afford them in my opinion. |

A purist respects the superior in all but noise electric motor
Petrol heads are just a bit stuck in the 60s high on co
Let's however not forget for nostalgia reasons electric cars predate dino juice cars

I think for the man off the street with no advanced driving test but money to burn, they shouldn't choose a supercar car with rear wheel drive. Put the boot down in an Aston from a stopped start and that back end twitches all over the place. |

I cannot see what market they are aiming for with the new Defender, Hardly suitable for the power companies and other utilities to stick a cherry picker on, Much to good for the construction companies and road builders to give to the surveyors, Whether or not a farmer would put lambs in the back to take to market is open to question. Anyone see the design similarities with the Skoda Yeti? |
