A c reg Ford Granada. For those who have no idea what that is; it was a stalwart of middle aged men, with ashtrays full in the 80s, as they cruised around with the family.
What havent you seen in years, but caught a glimpse of lately? |

Was it a late Mk2 or an early Mk3 though?

My dad has one when I was a little girl. I remember it.. Pale yellow colour it was with brown fabric seats. |

Seriously, though … I like an old car too. Doesn’t have to be anything fancy. In fact, the more ‘normal’ the better. An old Ford Granada or Morris Marina still out there on the roads always makes me smile. I love that someone, somewhere loves that old shitbox of a car so much that they work hard on a weekend to keep it running and defy the ageing process. There’s something lovely about that. |
