I've noticed lots of straight men have verifications from tvs.
It's so hard to get messages from women, nevermind meet them.. So I'm thinking have some men given up all hope of meeting a woman and gone with tvs. |

They are not straight, either telling lies to have greater options or fooling themselves because of psychological issues.

It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility of course, some men will have given up and given it a try. Some will have been bi from the start.
However some men are not scared of a meet up to converse with tv/ts for a social, verifications come from that also. |

I think the OP may have the cart before the horse. Many men,come on these sites to, specifically to facilitate living out long held bi or gay fantasys or tendencies.

I think there's some level of evolving the longer you are on fab. When I first joined I had strict rules for meeting females only, now I'm open to couples and black males as this is what peaked my interests while being on here. I'm sure something similar has happened with these men you refer to |

I don’t believe you can be tuned bisexual because of lack of activity with your preferred sex. If that were the case I should have been bisexual for all of my teenage life almost all of my 20’s.
If you’re going with blokes cos you’re not getting anything from girls, you’ve always been bisexual.

If they class themselves as straight then end up being "fab straight" then they're likely giving in to urges or curiosity they've had deep down for some time.
If you have zero attraction or curiosity for the same sex, I doubt you'll change just because you aren't getting any from the one that naturally attracts you. |

Nope it did provide me with a context to accept my bisexuality. I’d been vi since childhood just hadn’t realised it. It took until I was 50 to stop denying it. I’d been willing to consider I was curious for the previous few years, but after a couple of ‘meh’ experiences (mainly due to my own nervousness and inexperience) I kept reverting to thinking I was straight.
It was only participating in the forum that helped me to realise that I actually was sexually attracted to some men and some tv’s and ts’s.
It was only this year that I was able to tell the person who matters most to me. |

Don’t entirely agree with this.
I think alot of men simply haven’t fully found their true sexuality until they delve deeper.
Joining fab is a way of delving deeper is it not?
It can be a scary thing actually admitting to your self who you actually are. Woman seem to be alot better at it than men, that’s why there’s far more women openly identify as bisexual.

Tbf it's more a shift in society's values I believe that makes it acceptable to experiment? Plus the idea that something is seen as naughty and wrong will always entice someone to try it? These are both trends accentuated on this site.
Also the proportion of bi men on Fab can't be taken as the proportion in the "real world" as otherwise on the flip side would you believe that half of all women are bi? As I imagine that a minimum of half are at least curious on Fab.

I'm not entirely sure if a man is totally straight he would turn bi because of this site.
I do think that they have to have some curiosity in them to start with.

It's quite rare - and even more so in a sexualised context.

It is hidden in plain sight in the real world; it is all on display here.

. From what I have read on previous threads there are lots of bi guys on Fabs who say they are straight as they feel couples may not be interested if they say they are straight I have seen the term fab straight been used which perhaps best explains this. |

For some in the outside world, they still see a stigma to any sort of coupling beyond heterosexuality.

I'm wondering, who actually cares?
Why are we in a rush to put labels on people and their sexuality?
Why are we in a rush to judge others and their sexuality.
If a person is straight, then changes it to bi, or keeps it straight and meets people of the same sex, does it honestly, truly matter?
And if that straight man meets a trans woman, who identifies as a woman, does that not make the straight guy...... straight?
Fab and sites like it, open up peoples minds to new and exciting things.
I for 1 want to explore every part of my sexuality. I've been to a Trans admirers night at a club.
Turns out it's not my thing.
Guess what? No big deal. And I know myself a little bit better

Quite right. Sexuality has many faces. For me I dont find guys remotely interesting sexually, however a beautiful trans does more for me then most women. I wouldnt say I was bi but some would obviously differ on that. |
