On a previous profile a long time ago, I gave a 'thank you for asking, but I would not be looking to meet you'. I got something along the lines of....I wouldn't have shagged you anyway you fat old cow, I bet a slapper like you has loads of illegitimate kids and grandkids scattered across the country....Admin did remove him from the site immediately. |

Get loads of them being too ugly fat etc when I say no thanks or ask did they read the first lines of my profile. Tend not to reply much these days to the ones I’m not interested in, get really frustrated at how difficult it is for people to understand that I’m not interested in people who do not live locally and bearded men? At least 90% of my messages are from people who are one or both of these. Have people message me asking why I deleted their message!! |

Once upon a time this really bothered me but I then realised what sad, pathetic little creatures (both male and female) take to bullying behind the veil of the internet and I don't give a flying fuck anymore.
They're just inconvenient, immature little people who really need to go out and gather themselves a life away from Fab (and the rest of the internet perhaps)  |

There are many pyjama keyboard warriors on here and everywhere else on the internet.
Take no notice - it's not about you it's about something they're lacking in their own lives.
I have had plenty of nasty comments on and off of here - it started from a very young age.
I was unfortunate- I'm mixed race, chubby, frizzy hair - I wasn't popular with the boys.
I got insulted by adults too.
Racism was a thing in the 80's.
Then I was from a single parent family so we were broke = more insults.
I could go on but you might need to get your violin 
On here it's mainly insults about my weight.
It stings sometimes but I try not to take it to heart. |

Often they leave you a bit gutted. Just because it's online it doesn't mean it's not hurtful. Ppl can say stuff with no base or truth to it and you can't do anything about it or to correct them and then that shit becomes "fact" online....
It usually says more about the person making the nasty comment than who it's directed at....

Online insults have never left me feeling gutted tbh but then I can be quite a strong character, other people cannot handle it though, you just don’t know the circumstances of the person you are abusing, not everyone is quite as mindful as some of us |

I did many years ago have a period of random abusive messages. I blocked.
But to be honest, whilst I shrug it off, it does still play on your mind a little.

On here yes occasionally but after about 5 minutes I get over it.
In normal life occasionally too, today walking down the road with Ash we got absolute foul abuse from a complete stranger. No idea what sparked that but 30 minutes later we saw him being arrested so I guess he was just being hateful to a lot of people. That took a little longer to get over but we did. |

I don't get as many these days, but then I don't get many messages at all these days.
They used to make me angry, particularly the ones from lurkers posting something hateful as a response to something I had posted on the forum and then blocking me. Or, the ones that were/are about my ethnicity and/or weight.
Now I just ignore, have a little shimmy shake and come onto the forum to be mean to someone else. Paying it forward. |

Tbh I’ve been very fortunate - possibly because my profiles have always been friendly and positive (I hope!)
I do remember posting a pic one Christmas of me in a mrs santa outfit though - and a rather gorgeous, much younger lady posted a pic in the same outfit!
One chap - who later admitted he was a little d*unk - messaged me just to point out how much hotter the other lady looked in the outfit than me!
Instead of getting cross or blocking him, I asked if I’d done or said something to hurt him before, agreed that the lady in question looked amazing - and pointed out that it was totally unnecessary and perhaps a little hurtful to contact me just to insult me!
He apologised unreservedly! Hopefully he thought twice before contacting someone else just to be unkind! Hopefully! |
