As it states on my profile I do have a love for women older than me but as I found on here last time a lot of women older than myself don't like to be pigeon holed as cougars or MILFS.
So, ladies... do you like being told you are a MILF or Cougar or do you prefer not to be categorised at all? |

You are completely right. That is why I made this forum topic. Like i said in my last reply, I have only ever intended to compliment a lady and I want to make sure I don't offend people! Age means nothing but i definitely find that women older than myself are much easier for me to get on with, they dont play the mind games younger girls do, they know about respect and they know what they want and exactly how to get it  |

I dislike being referred to as a M.I.L.F an Older Woman a Mature Woman or a G.I.L.F for all the reasons given above.
I am a mother and a grandmother and to have men approaching asking for 'services' under those real life ( for me ) roles is an enormous turn off.
I think ages are more than just numbers - but they are only a guide and not a clear indication of the life experiences a person MIGHT have had. Age can't signify attitudes or predilections.
I see myself as a person. I'm a woman. In the upper age bracket yes but a woman.... not anything else.
I am not a cougar or a letch. I am not fucking under the label of mother. I am not seeking young boys to use or to breast feed and spank.
I am here for what I see as good sex not for any kind of fetish or to feed anyone's fantasies.
It's a bit of a conundrum for me. I enjoy being in the company of men or women who have a genuine attraction to me due to my body shape, age and character but when I get a message saying ,' I luv olda always wanted to fuck one.' etc etc it's a turn off.
There are younger men who have been great company, great at sex and those are the ones that do appreciate women like me but don't see us as a dirty little fetish to tick off a list and actually approach us and treat us as if we are people.
Sadly I can't help believing that rather than being sex led or preference led many younger males come here straight from a porn site where they pick up bad terminology and bad perceptions of what people are. I'm not against porn wholesale but I do think that those with little social experience tend to confuse porn and swinging.

Different things mean different to different people. I have a vanilla friend who absolutly loved it when her daughter told her one of her male friends considered her a milf. I would of absolutly hated any of my sons friends even commenting me in a sexual way.
I say i dont like younger guys, yet quite a few(well most) of them are actually younger than me in years that i play with. Do i think they like me because im older, mature or they think me a milf. No. I think they like me and i like them because we click and get on as two people.
Some people like certain labels and some dont. Some use labels just as a general kind line. I dont have anywhere on my profile or ever had that im a bbw. Yet lots do as its a very universal way of saying they are overweight.
So for as many that dont like titles they will be those that do. Some have on their profile that they are a milf, or that they are mature so m advice would be to keep the term for when applying to those that you know like it |

In my opinion Cougar is a label, whether accurate or not. MILF is usually meant as a compliment.
GILF is a sly insult and GGILF is just wrong on all levels.  |

There are plenty if other terms that get bandied about without thought as well.
In some forum posts I have made it clear that I have one friend to whom I'm sub. After these posts I get a flurry of messages referring to me as sub and slave etc. They also list lots of activities and fetishes that I have no interest in.
The same happens after discussions on threesomes - again conveniently missing the bi male preference I have, in fact the assumption is that I'm bi and I get lots of offers!
The moral of the story; beware of labels, none of us.fit neatly into ANY box and this is the site I turn to to revel in the sexual differences we share. |

Im with you on this one. Family and friends should show respect. It's one thing thinking a male or female is an attractive person. It's a whole different ball game bringing sex into something like a family picnic. Is there ever going to be a time with people like that where you can just be you in a public role. I'd feel for ever judged sexually and by my own children and their friends. Not nice. |

Personally I dont realy like my age or indeed size to be brought up in an opening message - if the only reason someone messages is that they think that as i am an older larger lady i am obviously desperate, i am not interested! However any compliments are always appreciated but I would steer away from any "labels" until you know the person you are messaging well enough to know if they will find it a compliment or a turn off. why are all these labels used for ladies? Why do we have to be labelled? Milf, gilf, cougar, all referring to a lady older than the man, I've tried to think of any labels for men? Why is it that it's always the lady that likes younger men that is labelled? |
