I'm not, but I really hate people who shit on how other people eat. People are allowed to be vegan if they want to be.

Sort of.

As in one of my meals every day is vegan (Huel).

I lean toward's being a veggie, but at same time still like things like beef chilli, burger's, chicken.

I have pointy teeth for a reason!

But I do think it's one of those thing's you really need to do the research into, and make sure it is something you can do for life.

Hey OP. I was when I lived in California as the choice of foods was awesome. Stopped when I moved back as it was just too expensive.

Not far

It's a journey I think. I've gone vegetarian this year for numerous reasons relating to animal welfare, I don't want to eat meat pumped with antibiotics, and this planet just can't sustain livestock farming. But I love dairy so going vegan is going to take time.

Yes. I know huge vegan body builders who basically survive on oats and avocados

The diet part is really easy nowadays in the UK. The hardest part of being a vegan is dealing with non-vegans who seem to think it’s their job to tell you how all vegans are obnoxious or giving endless lists on why they could never be vegan. Yawn.

OP why on earth would you turn into a vegan and miss out on all those cuisines from around the world. Stop thinking about becoming a boring posh sod and enjoy mate.

I am on a seafood diet. I see food and I eat

Why do some people get so het up about what other people eat?

If you feel like giving it a go, OP, then go for it

I’ve turned vegetarian this year, but don’t feel I could be vegan, I don’t eat enough beans and pulses to be healthy without eggs, yogurt etc..

If you want to be vegan go for it.

The gladiators were on a mainly plant based diet you know...

I eat plant based foods several times a week.

But I couldn't be vegan - I would miss cheese too much

I have spent a lot of time in India where whole states are vegetarian.

Delicious vegan friendly recipes are not hard to find either.

I think because veganism is on trend at the moment it wouldn't be difficult to find the information you seek.

Saw a fwb this week who was telling me about a documentary, wish I could remember what it was called. But it was about how switching to a plant based diet can drastically improve performance in sports. An elephant can pick up a tree trunk that even a very strong man would struggle to budge and twirl it like a drumstick. Strong as a ox? I'm not a vegan and never will be and it's a fact my body was designed to eat and digest meat. But it doesn't mean I have to or that it's the most beneficial diet for me.

I used to say that about canine teeth until I realised that they could't get through rhino hide. Or kill tigers. Don't ask me how I found out but Chester Zoo have me banned and on a wanted poster.
