Over the last few years (and especially in Social media profile pics etc) I've noticed that hardly any girls seem to smile anymore. I've got loads of attractive female friends who look really lovely with a beaming smile when we're out having a laugh, but as soon as the camera points in their direction, their lips automatically morph into this silly pseudo-model-wannabe fish-face pout!
All my mates agree that it's a bit annoying and does nothing to make them look more attractive - in fact it's the opposite in most of our eyes and we secretly laugh at their efforts to look like supermodels.
Is it just a UK thing or worldwide as well? Have you noticed the same trend? ...or are you a supporter of the contrived pouting lips.
Smile and the world smiles with you...pout, and you look like a fish! Lol Wink

i smile but apparently i have another annoying habit when having pic taken, Mr B calls it meercating its where i stretch my kneck up so i hide my chins thing is i look a right loon in the pics but i'm doing it without realising so Mr B has to pull me up on it all the time to stop me doing it unintentionally   |

i really dislike my pictures when i smile.. if my mouth is closed my lips look thin.. and if its a 'toothy' smile i hate that too as my teeth arent perfect  |

Jordan (real name Katy Price!) has got to be the champion pouter..nearly eatery picture of her I have seen she is hanging her bottom lip like a thirsty horse!...
Im sure she has a clause in her contracts that states that every photo (after it has been air brushed and digitally re worked thus turning her into a cartoon character of herself) has to feature her stupid pout...
