"What’s your thoughts?
"
That it has been totally ignored for the last three years, which to me is totally undemocratic!
Yet it is a word being thrown around in such a ironic way, I don't understand how they can use it with a straight face |

Any country that has had "democratic" in its name... notoriously isn't
GDR - German democratic republic ... or east Germany as an example |

"I don't believe we voted in Boris or May?"
and yet what we did vote for the powers that be are making every excuse to not follow it through, democracy is dead in this country, in the old days mps had other proper jobs, they became mps to help the country, well most did, now its a career, they are only looking after themselves,i often wander that if they were all gone, would we notice? |

"I don't believe we voted in Boris or May?"
That wasn't what was voted on! It wasn't for a party it was for a position to come out of Europe! And that is now being ignored no matter how people voted, the MP's are ignoring them and continue to go for what 'they' believe. Not what they were voted for into parliament in my belief so why do we now believe in this vote? Will it just be ignored AGAIN? |

Loads of lies coming out before the election so yes i think it will be ignored.
Also a democracy is people we voted for to represent us, which May and the Buffoon weren't. |

There are about 1 mill European "Voters" (still astonishingly) in UK who are not allowed to vote and had no vote at Brexit - so whatever evil you choose (shame Labour does not have a leader)please use your vote at least you got one. On the plus side after 13th Dec we all get fucked for another 5 years which is why we are initially on this site..... |

"Not voting theres no point i dont trust any of them "
I partially agree with you, though there is a big BUT.
I don't trust any of them, there is not a single politician out there that is truely looking out for what is best for the country and the people unless it is overwhelmingly in their own benefit above all others. That much is true. They don't have your best interests at heart, and they never will.
With that said by not voting, you are part of the problem that is then allowing the worst of the evils to be elected in, when you (and millions of others) could have helped prevent it (or you could be one of those that elected in the prime evil). There is always a point to voting, the outcome is the same though, you will always get fucked hard but you get a slight choice in which item is used as the dildo. Will it be the smooth, sleek and safely sized one, or the barbed wire wrapped watermelon sized one? |

"An election is never truly democratic when the % of support for parties nationwide is not directly related to the number of seats they win. "
Yet virtually no one bothered to vote to try and change this when we had the chance to a few years back. I didnt either because I didnt understand it because they didnt educate us as they didnt actually want us to do it. |

The vote 3 years ago was not binding, didn't have to be delivered and probably wont be. Closest we got to it was parliament approving the latest deal which caused BJ to stop it and call a general election.
But even that wasn't to leave, that was to start talking about leaving!
But don't lose your right to vote by giving up, it may not be much, but it is all we have. |

So true.....a party could get 10% of the total ballot and end up with no MPs....
Proportional representation is fairer but will nearly always end up with hung parliament |

Your right. It's like the lady above who said she will vote green in a safe labour seat. The green vote she makes is therefore wasted and it shouldn't be. We didn't do the Brexit vote this way, it was done on straight %. |

Absolutely right, public information on this was very poor. |

"Technically the UK didnt vote for brexit to happen either, it was a non binding advisory vote.
The UK voted for the government to look into leaving the EU."
If hypothetically labour got power... could they just say that vote was under a other party so we're not going to bother?
I find it all so confusing |

Technically if the Conservatives get in they could just say it was a previous government and they are not going to bother.
Of course if the Liberals get in we will all be so stunned we will forget the last 100 years existed |

Theres more chance of me sucking off Boris Johnson than there is of Jo Swinson winning a majority |
