Thoughts on wheelchair users?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hi everyone! It's quite difficult to meet as a single male, and being a wheelchair user (I think) makes it a little bit harder so I wondered if people could give me their honest opinions about their thoughts on having meets with wheelchair users.
E.g. whether you think it would be a bit of an obstacle, whether it's a turn off, a turn on, if you wouldn't know what to expect, if it's a logistical issue, if it seems fun, if you'd be worried about an uneven dynamic etc.
Would love to get a gauge on what people think. I lost the use of my legs when I was 18 after an accident, but feel free to ask any question at all, no matter how personal. Thanks for reading! |

I (Luke) can't speak for my other half, but I can certainly see myself being attracted to somebody who happens to be in a wheelchair. It has happene. It wouldn't stop me from being interested in them sexually. |

"Nothing wrong with them as long as everything works you can still have lots of fun.
A lot won't accommodate though not all houses/flats are that accessible so you need to take that into account. "
Yeah I can definitely see that being a problem, stairs are not my friend! |

Like any disability (of which I have several non-visable ones) there are ofc going to be additional challenges, which will put some people off.
It's nothing personal. Just as I don't meet smokers or those who don't have their own transport - I'm compatible with some people and not others.
I'm sure there will be people out there who won't have an issue, and others who will. |

I have had a meeting, away from this site, a while back, with a wheelchair user.
It was because he was a guy that I found attractive and sexy. Simple as that really. The fact he was in a wheelchair made no difference to me.
We could laugh together and communicate well so we just discussed the logistics !! |

My partner ended up in a wheelchair luckily only for a while. But she was still as sexy as fuck
As has been verified
None of us know what is around the corner life can throw some really bad things
Luckily we were fortunate. Not sure what would of happened but I certainly would not have jumped ship if wheelchair
So in answer to OP you need to find right person. |

I've spent time in a wheelchair myself when I was younger, as well as now caring for a disabled son.
It gives you a different perspective when you have personal experience of a situation.
So, if I liked someone, was attracted to them as a person, the chair wouldn't put me off, would just mean figuring out ways around some things. |

"Thanks guys, really nice to hear all your opinions on the matter! I think it's easier to ask these things online than in person :D "
As previously said your fit as fuck! And hung! Who wouldn’t wanna talk too you... |

I guess it depends on the person's attitude for me (brat).
Disabilities don't bother me at all but you have to have the right attitude about it. You need to have more awkward moments talking about positions and do's/don'ts. If I can be at ease and we can all just be playful about it then there's no issue.
I wouldn't want to meet someone who couldn't handle those awkward situations. Hope that makes sense. |

James. We used to meet a couple where the guy was a wheelchair user, he was paralysed from the chest down. His positive attitude and fun personality won me over, we had lots of fun over several years. |

I wouldn't t be or treat a wheelchair user any different to anyone else...they re still people and it wouldn't make a difference to me if I found them attractive to me |

We were chatting to someone back along who was a wheelchair user due to MS. We would've met him.
It was the fact he turned out to be a manipulative asshole that we didnt meet him not his wheelchair. |

A lot of clubs don't have disabled access too. K
