Verifications and Catfish

Do you find it strange when someone joins the site, PAYS for membership but doesn't get Verified by the site admins let alone individual members?
I tend to run into those type and when I address this POLITELY. The person claims they're offended or just stops interacting.
I'm thinking "you cant be fcukin serious?"
In the time that the person takes to buy a membership, add photos, browse profiles. They somehow CAN'T find the time to get verified by admins.

Yes, that's the only way I know that you can be verified by the site admins.
I've been catfished by pic collectors twice and I don't plan on a third time lol..
In reference to my distance. That's always the problem. We're always too far apart. Bummer |

Well I take it 100% have never been catfished. You have the best luck here so good for you.
If one can take the time to go through all those motions. What's wrong with getting SITE verified.
You do understand it's there for a reason right ?
Anywho. I see I'm the only one this has happened to. If it weren't for bad luck , I wouldn't have any lol |

I've been catfished lots of times. They are easy to spot though.
Verification doesn't prove anything. Trust your gut.  |

Over the years I’ve had people use my pics and been catfished, if catfish means someone who was 20 yrs younger than any pic on his profile or any pic that he sent me then being photo verified means zilch........ because he was photo verified!  |

Why’s it weird? Some people don’t want to. I use my gut instinct on deciding if people are real. I don’t do dirty chat and don’t video either. Been on here on off 8 years and never found a fake. And I’ve met men who are new and unverified, and have been wonderful, use your common sense I say. |

I'm photo verified, but didn't bother getting it done until long after I'd been verified by meets.
Thing is, most people don't trust verifications 100% anyway.
Meet/cam ones are too easily faked from duplicate profiles by catfishers, I've been asked multiple times to verify people I've never met (I said no, but others aren't that conscientious and will do it), and all photo verification does is confirm that an actual person is behind the profile rather than a bot... It doesn't guarantee that all their other photos (the ones you actually see) are actually of them, or that they still aren't a sex worker providing a service or drumming up business for a porn site/sex line, etc.
The only veris you can really trust are the ones left by people you actually know  |

Yep it's there for a reason but it isn't foolproof, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
I've been catfished and stood up by photo verified people, shit happens. |

Some new accounts will be people returning and who know how they want to run their account. Its a preference. Do what is right for you.
Getting photo verified isn't important to me and many others.

Because they don't want to. I didn't get photo veried for months after I joined even tho I was a site supporter. If you don't want to talk to them don't start a chat with them . |

I find verifications difficult, I been here before had 5 verifications all by regular fb.
Back again new profile on for 5 weeks haven’t seen or chatted to anyone I would consider meeting (pretty fussy )
I find with no verification girls don’t trust you!!
Would I be better just having a meet with someone that I don’t really want to meet just to get a verification!!

I know catfishes that’s have been photo verified. It can easily be faked 
I wouldn’t bother pointing it out or asking about it to them OP. I’d get defensive too, and I’m bloody real  |

Thing is, with photo verification they could upload a pic and get the tick then weeks or months later start uploading pics that aren’t them. Easy enough to do. I’d say meet in person verifications are a better guide. |

Well, I think it can easily be checked by comparing picture uploaded for verification to the rest afterwards.
Just so frustrating because my complaint has not been addressed and admin allowed to him to catfishing others

Due diligence and a bit off detective work can pay off when you’re vetting folks on here to see if their legitimate or not in my experience. Plus I have a few methods or checks to see if something adds up or not but usually it comes down to listening to you’re gut instinct or you’re lizard brain to detect if something is wrong or possibly dangerous....stay sharp OP  |
