So how many times meeting someone would you say it's more than sex?

Well if you meet a few times surely there's a cut off between just sex and something else deeper?

No, there's not. Feeling could develop after meeting somebody once, or never develop even if you meet 100 times.

I've been meeting someone for over 2 years. It's just sex, fun, and friendship. I've no romantic feelings for him at all and vice versa.

I dont think sex always has to be on the menu for it to be more than sex. It's the communication which can often develop a relationship... and the meeting and sex etc... just kind of confirms how you feel about someone... the respect... intimacy... some people can be more than sex... but not love.

I would say I'm not interested in more (anyone I meet knows that anyway) and if he can't accept that we would stop meeting. I've done it before. But other people are looking for that kind of romantic connection so not everyone would react the same as me!

Is this a theoretical question, or are you developing feelings for someone you've met?

I've had sex with someone a few times a year for about 30 years. It is certainly not a relationship. I don't even ever message him to chat.

I’ve had a buddy for 8 years. It’s just sex. He would not work into my life at all. We have fun we have sex it’s good. But nothing more

You can’t help who you fall for. But having sex with someone doesn’t make you fall for them. In fact it can do the opposite for me anyway.

The right place

I have someone I’ve met for over a year. I have developed strong feelings for her. I love being with her. But I don’t think we wouldn’t work as a couple in real life. I enjoy it for what it is. It’s escapism but with someone I genuinely care for.

It’s great.

It would be when you want to meet up without sex, just to be together.

I had a fwb for 13 years until I reached 30, we were best friends from school but neither of us were interested in each other romantically.

I had a great FB who stayed over every Saturday night for a few years. We had great sex, got on really well, shared a lot of laughs and had some amazing 3am deep and meaningfuls.

The whole thing was predicated on sex. When sex was off the table we didn't meet up, that's not what it was about.

He moved hundreds of miles away, chances are we'll never speak again, it was a FB arrangement and not a relationship. Length of time or number of meets don't dictate feelings.
