There and to the left a bit

Prompted by the other album thread which got me thinking about albums I play(ed) to death, and also having recently played the first of my list below that fits the category - what albums you always played a lot have you not listened to for a while?

Rattlesnakes - Lloyd Cole & The Commotions

Definitely Maybe - Oasis

What's The Story (Morning Glory) - Oasis

Swoon - Prefab Sprout

London 0 Hull 4 - The Housemartins

This is why I'm now a fan of the likes of Apple Music and Spotify etc. Every week I make an effort to listen to a couple of albums I used to love but they were on cassette or a DVD I lost or scratched etc. Rediscovered albums are such a treat

This week I've listened to The Downward Spiral by NIN and The Very Best of Sci Fi & Fantasy volume 1 .

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

The other day I listened all the way through Siamese twins by Smashing Pumpkins. I'd forgotten what a masterpiece of early 90's music craftsmanship it was

"Ooh lost boys soundtrack and top gun soundtrack, i dont care what anybody says i love top gun and its soundtrack"

I had the Top Gun soundtrack, Rocky V, Dirty Dancing, Braveheart, The Princess Bride, Pretty in Pink and the more recently the 50 First Dates Soundtrack.

Can’t beat the songs from the films!

I love film soundtrack albums because when you listen to them they take you back into the film
