There and to the left a bit |
Prompted by the other album thread which got me thinking about albums I play(ed) to death, and also having recently played the first of my list below that fits the category - what albums you always played a lot have you not listened to for a while?
Welcome To The Beautiful South - The Beautiful South
Rattlesnakes - Lloyd Cole & The Commotions
Definitely Maybe - Oasis
What's The Story (Morning Glory) - Oasis
Swoon - Prefab Sprout
London 0 Hull 4 - The Housemartins
Parklife - Blur |

Couple more I've thought of that appear on the other thread and I really must dig out again:
Introducing The Hardline According To... - Terence Trent D'Arby
The Defamation of Strickland Banks - Plan B |

Deep purple - made in Japan
Iron maiden - anything of theirs actually.
David Bowie - black star, technically shouldn't make the list as I haven't yet played it though bought the cd when it was released. One day... |

This is why I'm now a fan of the likes of Apple Music and Spotify etc. Every week I make an effort to listen to a couple of albums I used to love but they were on cassette or a DVD I lost or scratched etc. Rediscovered albums are such a treat
This week I've listened to The Downward Spiral by NIN and The Very Best of Sci Fi & Fantasy volume 1 . |

Ogdens Nut Gone Flake - Small Faces
Different Class - Pulp
Parallel Lines - Blondie
Expecting To Fly - The Bluetones
Suede - Suede
I have songs from all of them on my playlist, but haven't listened to the full albums for a long time.
That's my afternoon sorted, thanks OP |

Oh some good calls in there - particularly Pulp and Blondie both of which I used to listen to a lot and ditto to Estella's FYC call |

I love film soundtrack albums because when you listen to them they take you back into the film |
