Yeah often
The one that springs to mind tho was the time I got grounded for the entire school holidays when me and my mates stupidly set fire to dry bushes which rapidly spread into a blaze with the fire brigade being called.
Lesson learned lol |

When I was 7 or 8 my dad grounded me by taking the wheels off my bike. When he was at work I got his spanners out and refitted the wheels.
He didn't know whether to be angry or proud with me |

My brother was pissing me off one day so I decided to try and play drown him with the pool cleaning net.
Just as I was dunking him under for the fourth time my Mum came round the corner and caught me on the downward dunk.
I quite rightly got grounded for about three months. I don’t even think I saw sunlight.
Wasn’t allowed in the pool for nearly a while
Summer.
It defo moderated my behaviour |

Yes, once.
I accidentally set fire to the kitchen one Saturday morning when my mum and step dad were in bed. I was only making myself toast but neglected to pull the toaster away from the curtains and went to the lounge and got distracted by a magazine.
I could smell burning and heard a funny noise, ran to the kitchen and the curtains were fully ablaze. Just a foot or so away from the gas boiler too.
I sprinted upstairs and screamed the kitchen was on fire and I’ve never seen people move so fast. My step-dad ran down stairs and started beating out the flames, my mum’s screaming, I’m crying. I’d tried to open the door to leg it, but they both yelled the oxygen would make the fire worse. It got put out eventually.
Not only did I get grounded but I had the biggest bollocking going and had to help with the redecorating.

Always... for being mischievous, climbing out of window, tipping water on people's heads out of window, looking through naughty magazines in a beach hut... Good memories |
