So must of you would consider them to be the same, maybe they are..
But sorry my thoughts are different
I’m a TV
I try to be as feminine as possible, it’s not just about dressing in female clothes, I’m guessing a lot of guys wear their wives outfits and hope they don’t notice!!
I have a large array of clothes, lingerie, wigs, makeup, false boobs eyelashes, loopy, handbags, coats. Everything
I try to stay as smooth as possible.
I am not a cd!
I am trans |

i think some people just need to accept that a lot of people can't dress as much or as far as they like
i'm cool with whatever someone wants to call their self
some people cant shave off body hair for certain reasons or do make up
the only thing i fend offensive is someone being described as a HPW |

CD-Man that dresses up in female clothing.
TV-Person that sees themselves as a man and dresses up in female clothing
TG-Person that sees themselves as female and dresses either make or female. We have a condition known as gender dysphoria.
The differences between CD/TVs and TGs are like that of comparing a Kia Picanto and a Lamborghini Veneno, very big difference. |

Everything that the OP said
And of course it's even more complicated than that. It's sometimes said in jest that ask any ten trans people about how they see themselves, and you'll get eleven different answers.
Much like the OP, I regard myself as transgender rather than cross dresser, however I more particularly identify as bi-gender. At times I feel more masculine, at times I feel more feminine. At times I present myself in public as male, at times I present myself as female. These times do not always line up - there are occasions where for reasons I may be dressed female, but internally feeling horribly male. More often there are occasions where I am forced to appear as male, but my mind and emotions are screaming "female".
And then there's sexuality to consider... But that's another complicated story.
CD, TV, t-girl, transgender, TS... a handful of labels, for a host of differing identities. Which ones are genuine? All of them |

I am mainly referring to FTM transsexuals.
I am a crossdresser, I do try to be feminine as possible but sadly I can't shave.
There is a big difference between me and a TV, TV have gone much further than me. They are smooth all over, also try to emulate women closer.
Then you have TS, they are for all intense purposes a woman. Most of them have done a lot of issues to finally come to terms with what they are. |

I think of all the explanations I've ever read here on the forums, this is the one that has both illuminated and touched me. Beautifully put and thank you for sharing! |

That ending comparison is pretty offensive to be honest |

I fail to see how it's offensive or "hierarchal bullshit", I'm simply explaining the difference and giving an example because everyone throws them in the same pot, which IS bullshit. |

Yes throwing them in the same pot is bullshit, but rather than use something simple like black and white. You referred to the first group as essentially cheap shit and the latter as high end |

I’d be comfier with a bigger lock on the bathroom door
To keep you in, or others out?
