Last night, I started watching Sexcetera as I often do if I am up late and alone, (for those who have never seen it, it is an American sex programme divided into 4 sections and looking at 4 different sexual practises).
The first practise they looked at last night was where men like to be treated like babies, complete with a nappy, dummy, man size cot etc. I have no objection whatsoever to any sexual practise (providing it doesn't involve children), people can do what they want but what I didn't like was the references to mommy and involving mommy in sex, to me that just came across as incest. I just couldn't get away from the sucking of a woman's breast by a grown up man as right when he called her mommy and I had to turn it off as it was revolting 
In my defence I don't understand it but each to his own, if he enjoys it and its a release from his day to day life so be it, I just found it difficult to sit back and see it as just a baby being naughty. |

There are lots of pleasures in life and lots of reasons for people wanting to be cuddled, be back on the breast , feel safe with mum , get rid of their responsibilities for a short time. I don't understand how these get mixed up with sex. If they paid for the experience but didn't see it as sex that would be a different matter. It's like sex and violence - some people just cannot separate the two and that's where 'roughing' up comes into play I guess.

you're not alone in your line of thought as I too share your views, but if you think about it BDSM can be seen as boardering on physical, mental and or verbal abuse.
Mind you, there are loads of sexual kinks and practices that people involve themselves in that don't sit comfortably with me.

As long as people are polite when they dont uderstand something then there will be no cause to 'bash' them.
Its the people who attack other peoples preferences just because they dont understand it that seem to get the back lash.

Must admit it's one I don't get...but I don't really get some of the incest type role play either (Brother/Sister, Father/Daughter that kind of thing). I can understand relinquishing control, but when it comes to sex I'm definitely NOT looking to keep it in the family!

Someone i know explains it exactly like that. People may be icked out by terms like Mummy and Daddy, but they are words with resonance that touch deep emotions.
