For so many people (mainly guys) on FAB, the first major hurdle is getting that coveted green tick. Apparently, some believe it opens up a whole new world of non stop meets and mind blowing sex
So if you're that desperate as a man, would you meet a verified bloke for a pint, or an earl grey then display you've been verified by a man, or is that a concern for you, believing it'll hinder future chances?
In my opinion, verifications are to prove you're genuine, not a comprehensive review of your ride quality!

Ride quality made me laugh personally i don’t think I’d of met a fella for verification but no particular reason |

I've met a couple of guys in Derby for a pint and a game of pool a few years ago. Both of them were straight and even showed the veri |

It's a funny one
I've got loads of social veris from ladies. No one thinks anything of it.
But a male being veried by another man immediately opens up the 'you must be Bi' thing.
Personally it doesn't bother me, but having seen numerous posts on the forums, men getting comments about their veris, I can see why a lot of blokes wouldn't want another male veri

A verification for a man is of little value we all know they are men you don't find a woman pretending to be a man. As for a verification by another man well 2+2=5 to many so people would presume its a bi man.
The reality is a well written profile, good photos a good first message and ultimately an attractive interesting man is far more important than a green tick.

I'd be happy to go for a pint and a chat with a bloke and if they wanted to verify it on here, I wouldn't mind in the slightest. I dont see anything wrong with it |

I've got a couple of veri's from guys - one is a friend from real life who's also on here, and one from a guy I met at a social.
Both social veri's rather than from meets, but so what? I've got social veri's from single ladies and couples too |

"I can verify people but I wouldn’t trust what I may say about you "
As long as it’s honest. But then people
Might not want the honest truth told to them hahah; I’ve not yet too see a verification like brutal honest haha |

I think that's a lovely idea, well in OP.
There are some conclusions drawn about a man being straight but verified by another man (FAB straight) but still a great idea for someone struggling to get that first tick. |

I'm not keen on veris personally. .. Find them a bit gauche
Plus what is one person's cup of tea is very unlikely to be mine lol. I'd much rather make the connection and see where things go, I can pretty much tell if they are going to be a good fit lol (pun intended!) |

There and to the left a bit |
I've got 5 veris from men - and despite me being bisexual none of them are sexual meets, in fact my very first veri was from a guy I had met at a club and chatted to.
I'd happily verify anyone as genuine regardless of their gender if we met and I got a good impression of them and would happily meet another guy for a pint or a brew, nothing more, in order to verify them if that was what they wanted, and would make it clear in said veri that it was a social one.
If people want to make assumptions based on veris then the problem is theirs not the person who had been verified. |

I'd happily meet a man for a drink. I like chatting to anyone on here.
I'm bi, so a verification from a man wouldn't alter anything.
Unfortunately because of the whole bi, straight thing and massive trust issues on here I don't suppose it'd do straight guys any favours.
People will jump to conclusions about a man meeting a man.
It's a shame, because a verification could just be to say they are genuine and a nice person. |

True, but I'm guessing that not many straight verified men on here, would advertise they'd met a man for fear of that rejection?
So in essence the green tick alone isnt enough....it has to be a certain type of green tick for many!? |

I have lots of veris from men . I've also given veris to single males too. I can understand with some guys don't want a veri from a guy but if they took the time to read them it states clearly that I'm straight and it's just a social from a club or I've known them anyway to get them started on fab. The problem is some people just read the summary and not the actual veri. I have a couple of veris from 2 Tv's that I know from the club scene..That's not to say we have ever played. |

I'd have a couple of things to say on someone who feared rejection because they had a veri from a man.
Firstly would they want to meet someone who looked at an obviously social veri and made an assumption about their sexuality?
Secondly in my experience the vast majority of people aren't bothered about whether a guy is bi or not anyway - it just seems to be more because such a big thing is made of those that "won't meet bi guys" on the forums and if they are assuming someone is lying about their sexuality I refer you back to my first point

"Don’t see what’s wrong with it to be fair if women can meet up for a drink cuppa and a chin wag what’s the difference for fellas to do it "
Women often meet up for a chat. Men only ever meet for wild fucking and cock sucking.
Even if the veri said they just had a beer or met socially in a club, everyone would know that really they'd been bent over balls deep in each other. |
