WE've been revising our profile over recent days because we sometimes worry that people get the wrong impression about us when they see us playing in clubs.
We're fluid bonded. It means, since we trust each other, we can play without barrier protection with each other (bareback) but we won't do penetrative sex (PIV or PIA) without barrier protection with others.
However underpinning this is an acceptance that no-one is 100% safe- just that we trust each other to do everything possible to mitigate the risk.

No one on fab will have been tested for all STIs, so you will never be able to truthfully say that you have never had an STI, nor possibly that you are not a carrier for a specific enduring latent infection, once you start having sex with people.
Having an Illness os not dirty.
If someone is isolated for a few months and tested, you'd be able validate their status for the standard infections that are routinely tested for. That's unrealistic to keep someone in quarantine that way.

My clinic sends me a lovely text. I can show it .. but it would only work if I met someone on the same day ay.
I'd say it's up to you who you trust. But if they're willing to go bareback with you, they will be with others too.
I hate condoms, always prefer the feel and excitement of skin .. but needs must for me. I like a sexual health chat too.. i can make informed decisions with people I trust. But trust isn't always enough. Its a good question OP. No judgement, it's your body. No easy answer.

I would never risk playing bareback unless I’ve been with that person for a while and we both have trust and faith in each other.

Tests actually give you a clean bill of health 6 months ago.
If you take the test today and get all clear it means you were all clear 6 months ago.
If you have been injected with a dirty needle it takes 6-8 months to give you an all clear.
This is because it can take that long for certain diseases to be detectable.
If you bareback last night by accident run out and get a test and it comes back all clear, it basically means fuck all. |
