I don't think you can dictate that only 'ladies' reply. I'm female but no lady.
I don't go out at the weekend so the question is moot.

If it wasn't for TVs, swingers, prostitutes and bank robbers the stockings companies would go out of business 
At swingers clubs OP at weekends lots of women wear stockings, don't think they wear them while shopping at Farm Foods though |

I almost always wear stockings when out and about. Though will wear hold ups if the skirt is maybe a little short, or right on the thighs. I do occasionally wear tights in winter or again if the skirt is a little short.
On a night out (or in!!) it is always fully fashioned stockings, though on occasion have now worn these when out in the day too.
I know some will disagree but I see stockings as the epitome of femininity and elegance.
