They are doing pork belly on Sunday brunch today and the pic they just showed made it look like the skin is uber crackly so granny get chanel 4 on treacle

I've got a pork belly in the freezer......
I've tried everything everyone told me and im a bloody good cook and it's all horrible failure.
Mind you im cooking on a valve oven ( joke for those with character )

granny did you try scoring skin and rubbing with oil and a little salt, placing in really hot oven, hottest you can get it, for 15 mins so skin starts to crisp and then turn oven down to low temp and cook till done? |

Yup fairy. Since my original post ive done four belly porks now all in different ways .......all abject failure.
Ive done it before but not for years and now I cant get it on. Think my ovens lost it's mojo |

Once belly is cooked take the skin off and stick it under a hot grill . |
