Heaven in the Midlands

Why are some rather innocuous forum threads 'closed by moderator'? Example, the recent 'when to call the police'. I thought this would be a supportive thread and rather helpful to some.

Sometimes mods remove comments so maybe they removed the offending ones but thought similar ones were likely to be posted so closed it. Who knows really. We can only guess.
