The beauty of the cane is it can be used in many different ways...
Paddles are fun, as are crops... I've also had fun with belts, and an improvised belt made out of a guitar strap....

I love paddles and floggers.... I have a cane but I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to that. Like others have said sometimes you can't beat a good firm hand! |

Given the choice of the three I would opt for the riding crop, both to give and receive. Its easier to use use in close quarters than the whip and a previous poster was right when stating that the paddle looked too comical... I just can't get that scene from Lock Stock out of my head!
But by far the most satisfactory is the hand itself. Receiving feels much more intimate when it is the lady's open palm producing that delicious little sting...and I love the glowing warmth in my own palm that tells me a woman has been chastised correctly...

I tend to use open hand to start, it feels good and it safely gives a bit of a plump to the rump lol, but after that I would use either the paddle or the crop, a whip can be a little unruly, but I do love a well made cane, so much so that I make my own now, and I have a rack for them like in an old head masters office lol |
