I love a good salad, Olive oil and balsamic dressing,
Crab meat chicken combo mmmmmm"
Sounds lovely. I do too. Salad doesn’t have to be boring. It just gets more fattening the more exciting it is though  |

Ice cold crunchy lettuce, cucumber diced, spring onions, celery, sliced radishes, chopped yellow pepper, diced new potatoes, whole cherry tomatoes, and cooked chicken tossed together with either honey and mustard or sweet chilli... nom nom |

I love salad! Fried halloumi with cherry tomatoes, spinach, red onions finely sliced, lambs lettuce, grated carrots and drizzled with pomegranate seeds and lightly toasted seasame seeds.
Or chunks of feta with edamame beans, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced roasted beetroot until it's all cara_elised and sexy, baby kale and watercress and a glug of good quality olive oil.

Yes please, I thought I was alone in my love of salads
Old skool though (think ploughmans) not arty farty with half a lettuce leaf and a carrot peeled to look like a swan !
The only old skool salad I swap is the floppy UK type limp lettuce for the iceberg type.
Don't forget the crusty cob with real butter to accompany it.

It certainly does! I love a good salad but exciting ones often contain a surprising amount of calories. I'm weird as I tend to eat salads for enjoyment but when trying to lose weight I avoid them and stick to bulking my meals out with veg and reducing my carb intake. |

I'd conjure for you a tuna and chick pea salad. Diced onion, garlic, peppers, a couple of boiled eggs, a few cherry tomatoes and some herbs (parsley + oregano). All seasoned with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Love a good salad, with lots of greens and raw veggies, maybe a grain like tabouleh or quinoa, mixed beans and chickpeas, maybe add some hummus or a nice zingy dressing, add some seeds for crunch and loads of seasoning and fresh herbs. Yum! |
