Some men lie about being straight. Some are in denial. Some gay men see 'turning' a previously straight man as the ultimate prize.
Some men mail anyone online, doesn't matter what the person is looking for. Even if the person isn't looking for men, they mail anyway because it doesn't matter to them what the other person wants. |

Various reasons in my eyes, in no particular order:
1) so many ‘straight’ men lust after TV on here that gay/ bi men see them as open to gay sex
2) so many gay/ bi men are lying on here and putting their sexualities as straight, that other gay/ bi men are simply trying to identify them for sex
3) some gay/ bi men like the fantasy or challenge of converting, I think they are an extreme embarrassment to gay/ bi men and unfair on genuine straight men, it is deluded
4) some gay/ bi men only like strong masculinity and by hoping they can get a straight man to play they are getting that want fulfilled. However there are plenty of masculine gay/ bi men around though |

Easiest solution is to block messages from single guys/MM couples or block on an individual basis as/when/if messaged by somebody you aren't interested in.
Trouble is, there are a hell of a lot of "straight" blokes on here that, well, aren't that straight, actually...
You do partially have them to thank for the inconvenience and I also think the site is deliberately a bit ambiguous with its filters... The most robust way of avoiding it is to block messages from guys altogether but then that can be a bit limiting if you do in fact meet other guys in terms of mmf and gangbangs and the likes... |

Use the message filters Fab has provided you with. End of problem.
We have plenty of straight friends on here that we meet socially. Just because we are bi and Abby is a TV doesn’t make them anything else but straight so I get where the OP is coming from with his explanation of his veri from a TV. However, listing cross dressing as an interest is more unusual on a straight profile and might explain why men are messaging.

If there's 20 straight (fab straight) guys for every female / couple meet that's 19 missing out.

Well you have met TV/TS so what you think you are and the reality might be different. Your journey though. I get plenty of messages from 'straight' men who clearly state on profiles that they do not want to meet single guys. I don't get all uppity about it. I go with flow and accept people have internal psychology that we have no access to. One thing I do know is that people who over emphasise their sexual orientation are usually the people with the least confidence. Take any attention in a positive fashion, be polile, be kind and have integrity. |

Because there's a difference between "straight" and "fab straight". A lot of straight guys on here have numerous veris from guys.
Having said that however, it's not just gay men who message for fun - despite it stating on our profile that we are not interested in single guys, guess who the majority of our messages, winks and friend requests are from...? We just ignore them or block and move on |

You do realise people could look at your profile for a whole load of reasons - forums, veris, filters not working etc. I look at profiles for all 3 of those reasons. I tick certain boxes on my searches and most of them DO NOT WORK, it is annoying for me too. I get all sorts looking at my profile, fabbing pics, winking and messaging etc. I do not get precious over it though |

People will get views from everyone or anyone because it is only by looking at profile that you can see that you are not a match. E.g. they might not be interested in single guys. I might regularly view same ones as I peruse who is around etc. Always say just block if not interested as I will. No big deal. If people are too precious then they should filter better. The key is to respect people's preferences. |
