Feeling nostalgic:

Remembering when at school when the whole class (aparts from the girls...no idea why) sang this after Daniel (a kid with autism) came in humming it, it was everyone's favourite show for a whileand that was the only time everyone got along...

A lady after my own. Brixton boy grew up surrounded by Reggae & still love it, ska etc. But also love classical although I no longer listen to classic FM or as I call it Radio 1 for fogies..If you listen all day its the same ole popular stuff all the time so I've converted to Radio 3 although they do play a lot of opera & I'm not a big fan outside of Puccini.

There and to the left a bit

The sound of silence currently as trying to concentrate on a report I need to get done but the last few days I have listened to the following albums:

Welcome To The Beautiful South - The Beautiful South - had forgotten just what a good album it is

I Just Can't Stop It - The Beat - an all time favourite

Here We Go Love - The Beat - their first album for 30 odd years that came out last year and sits very nicely alongside their earlier stuff

Polar opposites today then, I'm needing noise to block out thought atm. Not bad ones just stupid ones..

That's an amazing album. It amazes me how high Polly Styrene gets in oh bondage. Plus the sax really suits the songs they wrote.
