By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

How does everyone feel about having their face pics on their profile?

Personally, I find it liberating! It's kind of free just being me

Though I totally get those who prefer to remain intriguing or positively private.

Asking for some friends?

I show face pics occasionally. I'm not that brave though as I have all the 'looking for' boxes unticked just now, so I don't come up in local searches.

I used to have all my fave pictures visible on another site for kinky people. I miss it to be honest as I'm otherwise a pretty open book. However since having to involve the police due to 4 years of stalking and harrassment by an ex partner, I just don't feel comfortable anymore. For a while I didn't even display body pictures but over time I decided I didn't want him to hold me back compleltely.

I consider my face pic to be a front-line filter, which eliminates most of those annoying 'messagey' things, which people moan about. (Trust me, it works!)

Better than someone showing initial interest, only to go "eek!" and run away later.

I find it depends on how confident I'm feeling. I get nervous sometimes and worry that I might be spotted and sometimes I think oh well and other times I'm like maybe I should take it down!

I was undecided today whether to put my photo on private as it made it into hot pics and I was like oh shit, half of my face is there.

I definitely don't think I'd be brave enough to have it all on show in a public album. I don't mind giving a quick peak of it every now and then though

True, I agree. But you have no control whatsoever about where your picture might end up in future. That would / could include somebody stealing your identity, buying stuff in your name... pretending to be you. Honestly, not a good idea.

Tbh it is not the graphic pictures that are the problem - it is more about somebody cloning your face picture and using it for a fake ID, that being just one example. The main issue is to be extremely cautious with your online footprint. It really is a nasty world out there.

There and to the left a bit

I have on occasion put my face pics to pubic for limited periods and have no problem sharing privately but wouldn't

be comfortable leaving it public permanently for fear of repercussions if it were seen by the wrong people

I always exchange face pictures before agreeing to a meet but I don't display them publicly.

I have a job that could become a pain in the arse and a life away from the site - although I do always think fair play to those who are more public and I suppose it's personal choice

Agree, that is another part of having a clearly identifiable face picture on public display. As you cannot completely eliminate risk, it is part of risk management.

2 being single male looking for sex and no bullshit and no ties to explore more fantasies and experiences.

3 no lady is gonna look twice at a photo of just a dick on show and from a single man usually means cheating married or fake I’d say from chatting with others. It shows who they are meeting without disappointment. Those who are looking for that face will come seek that face if they’re there fancy. I Keep my cock pics for friends or show only when chatting.
