No not what you think, I am intrigued...

In the last few hundred years have we discovered science or rediscovered history, let me explain.

Gravity, Isaac Newton or as I have recently read was it discovered in ancient India

Flight, the wright brothers

Or ancient Egypt or the Incas

Are you suggesting that they had powered flight in ancient Egypt?

Manchester (she/her)

There are a lot of narratives about how things are discovered or rediscovered, and history and the history of science is always looking at them in different ways.

In a wax coated bubble

More and more things are traceable back to Ancient Egypt, I suppose it is just a case of when they discover the supporting relevant ancient text or as it is released to western eyes.

I do believe Leonardo Da Vinci had drawings of a helicopter type device so I think what you're saying is that the idea was conceived hundreds of years ago but only realised with the industrial revolution. Technology has moved on steadily faster since then though

Improvement in science also improves our knowledge of history.

Carbon-dating, for example.

If you're ever in London, visit the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology and take a look at Core #7. Mind boggling!

Well history is written by the strong or the Victor's, and as such fits once groups narrative.

Take fore example over here, the world thinks millions of us died due to Famine, but who wrote that History, the same people who were in charge at the time,, not the truth but exactly what everyone reads
