Yes cooks!

I’m sat watching Saturday kitchen Best Bites - are you an adventurous cook?

I can; but rarely do these days. It’s too much effort to rustle up anything elaborate for one but I can smash a great dinner party.

What are you’re limits ? And what do you cook?

I do like to try new recipes but I am more the everyday cook. Hubby is an amazing cook though

Yesterday I had my first attempt at choux pastry, and made a strawberry gateaux St Honore. My current profile pic is me with the end result.

I'm adventurous in regards to trying new things and tweaking existing meals I cook.

But I'm more into simplicity. I think you can be both whilst cooking.

Well done, I wouldn't know where to start with pastry even baking. For me, its all about bbq and smoking. BBQ is low and slow. A side of ribs, pork shoulder, brisket, reverse seared steak, that is heaven to me.

I recently got into making fried chicken as well, hot and spicy served with white bread, pickles and tears,

I don't like to blow my own trumpet, but, I'm a very accomplished cook, have over 100 cookbooks and love to experiment. I recently taught myself how to make boutique cupcakes. I have regular country themed dinner parties so that I can try different methods and different spices etc. I did an Indian night recently and the cooking, marinating and prep took me 2 days but was so worth the joy of the flavours #Iabsolutelylovecooking

I'm making pad kra pao, once I butcher the chicken. Gloves at the ready for the chillis and garlic

Northampton Somewhere

I'm making beef wellington today after one of my kids asked for it. I thought it would be easy then I looked into it. It's so much more than wrapping a bit of beef in pastry.

I may find my limit later!
