Probably expected to be executing other areas better so it wouldn't be such a factor.

England need concerted time on the ball or they will run out of time

SA have played ugly rugby and it hasn't looked skilled but they've got a job done.

Can hardly call it a beautiful game but it's worked so fair play to them for the tactics. We should have beaten them last weekend, England should have easily beaten them today but they stuck to their strengths and it's worked so can't really knock them for it.

Ultimately the point of the game is to score more points than your opponent

"Well done George Ford - he's just lost in a World Cup final and being asked what went wrong. Would be so easy to be monosyllabic but he did wellcos being a good loser is what its all about lol

Fuck that if your miserable be miserable

You can be miserable without being a knob "

Some people can’t help being knobs, other people are professional sportsmen and know how to behave

"Well played SA, amazing defence, brilliant tactics and incredibly powerful, a totally deserve victory . I am guessing the Welsh , Scots and Irish are happy now, maybe one day you will get to a final

And I'm guessing you would like to be the current six nations holders right now "

Yes we would. But we have won that numerous times

That's unnecessary.

England had a good world Cup and I'm proud of the boys for that. Beyond that the other home nations will have their day.

Congratulations to SA, they played well today and deserve the win.

Cant manhandle the South Africans, cant pull the jersey and shorts off them in the Ruck, cant intimidate them and disrespect them, and the England game falls apart.

Meanwhile South African hit and hit and hit and hit, just waiting for the dangerous fast guys to get a proper chance then strike.

i don't begrudge the south africans anything today..... they played and executed their gameplan a lot better than the english... and they make others play at their tempo and make them feel uncomfortable...

the rugby fan know how south africa play, its not a surprise, teams didn't do a good job of countering it...

well done siya!!! his story alone is worth turning into a movie!

bring on the lions tour to south africa in 21.... i think we have to make each other a promise that if anyone wins the jackpot in the lottery... you have to promise to take the rest of us on "a trip"....

Unfortunately you won't see these players as there is a mass exodus after this tournament. A new coach will have to start again with new players. This was pretty much our last hurrah.
