Here's the thing. I am by nature a soft kisser, gentle teasing with lips, nothing hard and full on with the tongue or anything like that. I still get quite shocked when I kiss someone and I unexpectedly get a huge open mouth enveloping mine, their tongue wrestling with my tongue and going right down my throat. As a man, am I alone in disliking this type of lip exchange? |

I don't think I've ever had anyone pushing their tongue down my throat but I definitely like a bit of a tongue. I can figure out just from kissing when my OH is in the mood for something as his kisses get deeper with more pressure and more tongue. And that alone can make me horny for him. |

Seriously I'm amazed at the amount of women I've kissed go at me like a rabid Dyson vacuum.
I understand many will love this approach.. But its not for me. Soft and gentle with a bit of tongue tease is my fave. |

"God I remember being kissed like this in my teens. Not pleasant. Kisses involving tongues can be fun if it's a little, teasing amount and there's no need to open your mouth wide."
This is exactly how I prefer to kiss. |

I think tongue thrusting from the off would be too much. As the end point of a lot of kissing build up though passionate entwined tongues can be very sexy, but by then other things are going on too and the tongue might not be the only thing sinking deep into me. |

I find tongue thrusting from the off really doesn't do it for me at all. |

I love to kiss deeply. I love to gently touch and suck my partners tounge. I tend to use my mouth alot, kissing, gently nipping and sucking neck, ears, shoulders and many other areas I'm sure you can imagine. I personally find kissing the most erotic part of sex and enjoy sex much less without it. |

Kissing is a mutual pleasure, and you'll both know when you're doing it 'right' |

Man or woman, you're not going to be alone because we all like different approaches to kissing. I agree that having a tongue more or less shoved into your mouth straight away (unless, for example, there's been some sort of alternative build up to it, teasing chat or whatever) can be the complete opposite of a turn on and personally it makes me feel quite suffocated and therefore panicky when that's happened to me. I almost always prefer a slow build up to more passionate kisses so I don't feel overwhelmed.
I hate the assumption made by some people that their preferred style of kissing is what I'm going to like as much as they do. It should be about finding out what's equally enjoyable for both of you, responding accordingly to physical, verbal and aural cues rather than automatically slobbering all over you like a proverbial bull in a china shop regardless of how you're reacting to their efforts! |

I love kissing. Like someone else said, it depends on the situation. Soft and gentle sometimes, passionate others.
I can only think of a couple of bad kisses I've had.
This one time, (at band camp ) a lady kissed me and it was all slobbery, like a big fish stuck to my mouth. Not sure how else to describe it. Lol.

This ! If the kiss is crap then nothing happens. There are a lot of crappy kissers...a little finesse goes a long way and a kiss tells you everything you need to know. |

I love kissing and can’t imagine life without it. However, the type really depends on the person involved. Sometimes soft and gentle, sometimes intrusive and dominating- really depends on the dynamics.
I never thought I’d enjoy ‘tonsil tennis’ but I did with one person and am looking forward to the next game with them... |

"Kissing can make or break my lady boner for someone, I tend to avoid kissing if I really fancy someone just in case they are bad
I too hate the tongue down the throat thing."
I'm totally with you on that one. |

I just love kissing. Some people I've preferred to kiss more than others. But I don't like kissing that's boring and samey. I like a variety of techniques that match the moment |

"No. People like different ways of kissing."
This personally i don’t like being washed or my lips bitten. Being kissed well is the best foreplay for me. And i love a lot of kissing if they kiss well. |
