I know so many people who are on SW and have lost a ton of weight. Never tried that one.

A little of both. Even Fruit and veg can be fattening. In fact their sugars have to be turned in to fat before you can burn them off (same with alcohol), whereas most meat can be burned immediately.

I try to balance carbs with protein, fat and regular exercise.

Spicy food is great for the metabolism and eat slowly, you feel full up sooner.

Blimey I am dull

Oi - you pinched that off me!

Seriously though, I used to have a huge designer plate and would happily fill it and eat the majority of food on the plate, I've gradually worked down to having my main meal on a side plate. The plate is full, I eat it all and I feel full - def psychological. I'm losing the weight slowly - still eat all the things I like but don't feel as though I'm on diet. The other trick is when you go out for a meal is to ask if the restaurant will allow you to choose off the kids menu - some do, some don't. Good luck xx

"Which works for you?

"

I never count what I am doing as a diet..i would never do a fad diet.. ie ones that cut out things.. etc or slimfast...

I eat healthy and watch portion sizes.. I am using ww but I could easily stay within my points but not eat healthy.. but I prefer to.

Awwww you nearly made a joke.

How would obesity stop someone losing weight?

You spoiled my joke anyway.

My condition is greed.

South West London / Surrey

Have struggled with my weight since I was a teenager and I really have to keep a eye as I can put on weight realy quickly.

At my biggest I was a size 20 but was really uphappy so worked hard to lose around 4 stone. Did it by cutting down size of portions, doing exercise (which I hate..lol) and changing what I ate.

Would still like to lose more admit I have got lazy at the moment.

Tried lots of diets over the years but have never worked for me.
