This is going to sound weird and probably extremely sad but..... but growing up watching American films and stuff where they go grocery shopping and carried stuff in paper bags (like Sigourney Weaver in Ghostbusters) i always wanted to use them to carry groceries.
I can’t tell you how pathetically excited i got when i went to New York and got given one (a bag!) when i bought something.

Was out shopping yesterday and saw woman with a huge paper bag filled with fancy cosmetics and other junk going back to her car I the rain, and then the soggy bag split and her shit dropped all over the carpark..... was funny but sad too.....
Paper bags are ok for loose sweets, but not much else..... |
