Ok I’ve stole the idea from absolute radio today basically it was good songs that never got to number 1 because a rubbish song did I was shocked that wonderwall was kept from number 1 by no other than pop royalty robson and Jerome remember them ? Paddy and Dave so what songs do you love that never got to number 1 and tell us what kept them off I’ll let you use google

Welcome to the monkey house by Animal magnet. Was played in all the pubs and clubs around Birmingham in the early 80s but the song didn’t even get in the charts!! Surely we’re not the only ones to have danced along to this.
